My first Greek coffee in AGES. I love Brighton.

Lucky Boy off to New York for 5 days in a couple of weeks. What am I going to do for 5 days?
All out of books for a start.

Last time I had 5 days off that I didn't know what to do with I went down to Cornwall with my bike and stayed at the Hotel I always wanted to stay in when I used to go there as a child. It's right next to the best beach in the world. On my last night I was sitting on the terrace watching the sun go down and I said to the owner with a Big Sigh
"I wish I could stay forever"
He said "Well you can." and offered me a job.
4 months was not quite forever but I had a fine old journey there and got to wait tables barefoot which somehow never lost it's charm. Met some lovely people there had some awful times too but in a good way somehow. Lot of living done.

My kitchen here has somehow got a bit of a Trebarwith feel some days.
