The Chinese women's team won the 3 meter springboard synchronized diving competition. It's hard to understand why the Chinese didn't win everything, actually. From my untrained eye it looked like they were competing at an entirely separate level.

The Fina Diving World Cup was held in the Beijing Olympics water park, in the building known as the Water Cube. I'm not even sure what it's non-nickname is, come to think of it.
The walls are designed to have the same structure as soap bubbles.
Inside it becomes more apparent that this is a temporary structure. The bathrooms are going to have a rough time during the games, plastic stripping on the stairs is already starting to pull away, and there is only one viewing screen for close-up shots of the athletes. At one point someone's cell phone caused interference with the speaker system.
But it's a pretty building, and allegedly temporary anyway.
