You definately made good use of your time! Gardening is relaxing and satisfying for the soul..I have pansies from October through June..they are beautiful and very hardy..ice clings to them and they droop and then hold their heads up high when the sun defrosts them..Good philosophy to live by! Ahh - it will be spring before you know it! You can grow lettuce in winter??!! I'm really enjoying my garden here at the moment - tomatoes are ripening, corn coming along, snow peas looking good and just put in some lettuce.
