Totally too much time on my hands, friday I pulled out all the tomato plants that had frozen and piled up the cages

You definately made good use of your time! Gardening is relaxing and satisfying for the soul..I have pansies from October through June..they are beautiful and very hardy..ice clings to them and they droop and then hold their heads up high when the sun defrosts them..Good philosophy to live by! Looks like it is a beautiful place in the summer :))

I just love gardening, I also grow my own veg in the summer, Glad you reminded me about the garlic, I need to get mine in or it will be to late. :0) saying that the ground is rock hard. Love to see your garden in the summer as well!

Ahh - it will be spring before you know it! You can grow lettuce in winter??!! I'm really enjoying my garden here at the moment - tomatoes are ripening, corn coming along, snow peas looking good and just put in some lettuce. Was even talked into putting in some dahlias by you know who ;)
