Long Dell ja selle keskel asuvad palmipuud, mis imekombel pääsesid 1987 aasta tormist. Nimetatud torm murdis hulga suuri puid ning selle tulemusel kujundati aed ümber. Uue kujundusega aia keskpunktiks saidki need kaks palmipuud. Ja muidugi, see Long Dell on üks Borde Hill'i aedadest!

Borde Hill'i aed West-Sussex'is nimetati 2004 aasta aiaks Inglismaal. Kindlasti on ta oluliselt kirevam kevadel ja suvel, kuid ka täna oli seal üht-teist vaadata ning lisaks meile oli vaid paar inimest seda kohta külastamas. Täiskasvanu pilet £6.50, lapsele £3.50, lähim raudteejaam Haywards Heath ja Londonist peaks sinna jõudma umbes tunniga.
