First World Hotel has a total of 6,118 rooms, making it the largest hotel in the world. It surpassed MGM Grand Las Vegas, the former largest hotel in the world with 5,690 rooms. However, as of December of 2006, when the MGM Grand opened a number of new rooms in its Signature towers, the First World Hotel lost the title of largest hotel in the world once more.
