Genting Highlands (雲頂高原) (1700m above sea level ) is a mountain peak within the Titiwangsa Mountains on the border between the states of Pahang and Selangor of Malaysia.

Genting Highlands enjoys a cool climate, with temperatures no higher than 25°C and rarely falling below 14°C yearly and is home to a famous mountain resort by the same name which can be reached by car from Kuala Lumpur in one hour.

It is also accessible by the world's fastest and South East Asia's longest cable car called Genting Skyway.

t is sometimes informally known as the Las Vegas of Malaysia as it is the only legal land-based casino in Malaysia. Together with integrated world-standard entertainment facilities encompassing various leisure, indoor and outdoor theme parks and gaming facilities, Genting Highlands Resort has become Malaysia's Premier Resort.

Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, founder and honorary life president of Genting Group, passed away at 11.20am Tuesday, 23 October 2007.

Genting Hotel is a 5-star premier hotel; built in 1978 as the second hotel in Genting Highlands Resort.

Highlands Hotel s a 5-star hotel and it houses the Elite Club, the 6-star standard hotel rooms at its top most floor. It houses also the Genting Skyway upper station.
