this pianist was playing the piano on top of a platform flooded with light. Dark tone of the suit and the piano (as pointed out by chongyin) fooled the camera into using slower shutter speed (with shake) & overexposed in the P mode

CNY Info for the day
The ninth day of the Chinese New Year is especially important to Hokkiens (largest Chinese dialect spoken among Chinese groups in Malaysia. Originally, the Hokkien people were the descendants of the earliest Chinese settlers on the Peninsula who originated mainly from Fujian Province in China). Come midnight of the eighth day of the new year, the Hokkiens will offer thanks giving prayers to the Emperor of Heaven. Offerings will include sugarcane as it was the sugarcane that had protected the Hokkiens from certain extermination generations ago. Tea is served as a customary protocol for paying respect to an honoured person.
