Pisa

Still wet weather. Nevertheless. Morning train to Pisa, and a 10-minute bus ride brings us to a tantalising first glimpse through an arch (1). The obligatory duomo (2), and the sight everyone around the world knows so well: back and forth and round and round (3-8). We decide to skip the bus ride and walk back to the train station, all the better to really see the quaint little town. Personally I think the river (9) is better than the one that runs along Florence. By noon or so we're back at the train station (10), and by mid-afternoon, back in Florence for another walk through the city.
