One of my favorite fruits - mata kucing (a.k.a. longan)! Only when it's fresh though; the canned ones are... not so good.

mr. tan: No I don't do it ALL the time...this is my first time! I got a few weird looks, as you can imagine. This is what we have to do to get 'snapshots of life' ok... lol andrew: This is a typical pasar pagi (pagi=morning) somewhere in the north of Malaysia. You can find lots of stuff there - food, clothes, toys, books and magazines, etc.

yeah, I was also wondering how people reacted with you taking photos of the market. If I did that my mom would probably have said, 'Crazy is it? Come help me carry the basket instead!'
