Yên Tử mountain is probably the most important place for Buddhist pilgrims in Vietnam. It is in Quảng Ninh province, not far from the infamous Ha Long bay.
It's a breath-taking experience. The view is incredible, and the trip will take your breath away. You need to climb the mountain for 2-3 hours one way.
Why do you torture yourself climbing up this steep mountain? To see a small pagoda made of bronze.
That's it? Also to sit back, relax, try to catch your breath back on the top of the mountain. You will need that badly for another 2 hours to go down the mountain.
