Where have all the good times gone?

2008.11.27
Clorot (or congcot in Sundanese), made of gelatinous rice flour, sugar, wrapped by coconut leaves arranged in conical shape

Bacang, made of rice with meat (beef or chicken) in the middle wrapped by 'garut' or 'patat' leaves, steamed for hours

Kelepon, made of gelatinous rice flour, brown sugar in the middle, covered with grated coconut, served on banana leaves

Onde-onde, made of gelatinous rice flour, sugar, green bean in the middle, covered with sesame seed, deep fried

Buras, rice stuffed with carrot, potato, meat, chili inside, covered with young banana leaves; steamed

Traditional food I used to buy in my childhood, before fastfood chain restaurants' crushed anything on the way.

Less cholesterol, environmental friendly packaging
