In Crimea there are 8 cave cities. The most known is Tchufute Kalei ("City of the Jews" in the Tartar language.) It's just above Bakhtshiserai, palace of the Khan.
Thanks for the comment Quark! My own favorites are 1, 23, and 24. Of course 12 as well -- portrait of my youngest son. I do like to post a lot of pictures to give a complete picture (excuse unintended pun) of a place. I hope they aren't repetitive, as a news site I look at which will have 30 pics of the same scene.
