Another "gemach." These wonderful people have gowns made for children to borrow. People borrowing the gowns make a nominal donation to a charity in Israel. If someone can only afford $3, that's fine. $18 is the usual donation.

As usual, your eye has taken us on a fascinating journey of an otherwise tedious, rushed ordeal getting ready for a big event! I just love how you punctuate the theme with something like the car crash and the water salesman. (BTW - that's the Philly style of water selling we are seeing in your shot) What is the delicious looking food in # 11 & 12???

Such nice shots of such interesting things, Leah. THe embroidery, trim, stitching, fabrics, and so on are my favorites. Beautiful dresses, really! Once again, good work. You had a blast taking pictures at that store, I know.

I especially like that these pictures are so real, they don't have a dreamy, sad, lonely aura, and it doesn't seem like you had to go out of your way to take them. Natural shots are the best.
