I love the beach I was brought up there and whenever I come home I want to be there as much as possible. Even in the colder days of summer. This particular day I took my niece's dog Fergus for a walk,, he loves it there and as I missed my scotty MacDuff I enjoyed his company. As you will see from the pictures a very unusual sight met us when we came across hundreds of jelly fish washed up as the waters were pretty rough that day and it had churned them up. I have never seen so many. Then we saw a wounded bird and because the waves were getting big it brought out the surfers. They surf summer or winter as the North Sea only changes a couple of degrees during the year so it is always cold, but always great fun. On our way back we met my dad who was 90 at this time. He still walks to the beach twice every day and talks politics and puts the world to right. He usually takes fergus but I had got there first so he was glad to see his pal. He was in the paper that year as on his birthday he had climbed Tiger Hill the highest sand dune on the beach, of which even the youngest breath heavily at the top!!!
