Man...these are beautiful fish - love the variety!! Looks like you've had some great fishing trips. Can't believe the size of some of those fish you caught on such light gear!! Thanks for sharing!

WOW these are some impressive photos! Thanks for sharing. When my husband died, I briefly took up fly fishing of all things! Tying flies turned out to be my favorite thing.... but I flunked out of "class" when I added purple and silver to my wooley buggers!

Chris, these are wonderful shots! You have taken a vast array of quarry on a fly ... very impressive! Thanks for the nice tribute ... we flyfishers have to stick together! I agree that dry fly fishing for trout may just be the ultimate experience on very light gear, but alas, it makes no difference to me what I'm using, or what I'm catching! The enjoyment for me comes from being in nature and attempting to fool a wild creature with fur and feather! Well done my friend! Mat

You have done well, my friend, with your catches and your fly tying. Tying flies is an art in itself,,,,,,something I have not done, and don't think I have the patience to do. Thanks for sharing :))

Thanks for your nice comments friends! Fishing and flyfishing have been one of my greatest passions in life, also flyrying and rodbuilding. And to answer Amber, "catch and release" or "cook`em up"? Well, I`m both actually, when the nature gives its permission and the fish have a good size I take the fish(I love cooking, and especially fish and seafood, it is specail to prepare a wonderful wild and fresh Trout tha you have fished yourself, rather then buy a frozen filet on a supermarket, a huge different ), but in some rivers we have baglimits, and if the stock is threatened in the river of course I release them. I`m becoming more and more a "catch and release" man. I share your philosofy Mat, I`m not so much engaged by the carches anymore, for me the ultimate is the trip, the nature, the sosial thing with my friends, and the catch is just a bonus:-)
