Mom came to visit me on my business trip to Philly and we ate right across from Occupy, after a visit to check out the scene. It was pretty surreal and also wonderful to see the police hordes standing at a distance, respecting the protests.

I love the hustle and bustle, the grime and the grunge, the beauty and the reality of cities. It was a wake up call to be part of Philly, and Germantown suburb and the Occupy Philly movement. We have work to do, America.
