A simple portrait

I want this portrait to stand on its own using only tones to accentuate the face and its surrounding, hence it's in black & white.

That is indeed a beautiful portrait. I enjoy the soft tone and soft light on his face, whereas the light on his shirt is 'tougher' (I don't know if you can say that about a light !). I think you were right to make this entry only about this portrait, it is self-sufficient.
