"Dad, how much longer do I have to do this? When can I go throw snowballs again?"

Overheard a child saying to his father while I took a break from snowboarding to watch the kiddie class.

Later in the day, I'm asking (i.e., whining) to my husband, who is kind enough to give me snowboard lessons:

"How much longer do I have to do this?..."
