Day 65 Calm in a Storm

"Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace amid the storm."

My life has felt very stormy lately. I feel pulled in a million different directions with grad school work, counseling cases, special education assessments, health stuff, emotional stuff, planning for the future, and trying to balance friends and family on top of all the rest. I tend to get caught up in all the go, go, go and I forget to breathe and find moments of peace. Looking for those moments of calm each day has been a goal of mine these past few months, and it's still something I need to work on. In part, it seems to require making an effort to schedule in the time to relax and stop to smell the flowers or watch the sunset -- little things that give me a bit of shelter during the storm.
