Day 73 Federal Business

My husband works for the federal government and today I went to have lunch with him at his office. There are quite a few funny quirks that come along with working for the U.S. government that you don't experience in the private sector. For example, when he was first hired he had to go through an extensive background check. And because I was a former "roommate" the investigators sent me a form where I had to rate his trustworthiness, reliability, patriotism, and so forth on a scale of 1 to 5. It gave me a bit of a giggle at the time, having to grade my boyfriend for the U.S. government. But I think I gave him pretty good marks.
