Day 86 Joshua Tree National Park

Hooray! We arrived in Joshua Tree National Park, which is located in south-eastern California about 8 hours from our home. It is a huge, gorgeous desert that includes over 1,200 miles of land and over 4,000 rock climbing routes.

Part of the park is in the Mojave Desert and houses the Joshua tree, which is the very distinctive tree that grows throughout the park. I think it looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss book. It's a surreal and beautiful place, and I was happy to arrive.
