Day 100 Within Our Reach?

2008.04.10

We started thinking more seriously about the prospect of maybe, possibly buying a home (and when I say home I mean small condo) by talking to broker. In the Bay Area, buying an actual single-family residence with a yard and all the fixings at our age is nearly impossible unless you happen to be investment bankers or computer software programmers or related to Bill Gates. You may even need to be all three these days.

However, I will be more than happy living in whatever gets our feet into the housing market.

mattandbranson Exciting! Matt and I are not stationary enough to think about buying, but we are lucky to have the sweetest landlords ever who have let us do whatever we want to this current house...I sure hope the next renters enjoy my pink french kitchen! LOL!

pzf64 Have fun looking! That was the one thing I was utterly shocked about when we visited San Francisco last year ~ real estate prices! I absolutely could not believe it. We found a house very similar to ours in Indiana for $1.6 million. We laughed so hard I think we embarrassed everyone around us! We decided Indiana wasn't so bad after all :o)
