Day 151 Visiting Old Friends

2008.05.31

In my former life (seems so long ago), I used to be a book editor. And even though I am a terrible cook, I was somehow put in charge of managing a lot of cookbook projects. What were they thinking?

I went to Barnes and Noble today to buy a book on learning disabilities, walked past the cookbook section, and was quite pleased to see the very last book I worked before I made the big career shift on the shelf.

Just in case you are curious which book it is, I'll give you two hints... I've never had the pleasure of working on a Chez Panisse book and I have never met Mr. Mario Batali.

pzf64 Ok, I'll play! I'm going to guess the one that says San Francisco on the front. A book editor ~ now that sounds like a fun job!

mandylouwho I'm going to guess the Boulevard one - but I think the San Francisco one is a good guess! What a super job, I'm soo jealous :-)

climbergirl Alright, it's the red one on the bottom. Dona Tomas--a lovely Mexican cookbook, with very tasty recipes. Maybe I will post one this summer...
