Day 157 Where Have I Been?

I left my elementary campus after lunch today and headed to some shops to scout furniture. It was so strange to walk around and seen people shopping, sitting in the sun, relaxing. I feel like I've been underground working away for two years with little breaks here and there, but in general there hasn't been that much time to just relax and unwind.

I sat down on a bench for a bit and just took in the slower pace. Part of me thought, "Where did my life go these last few years?" I've never done anything so all-consuming as grad school has been, and I feel like I am finally able to take the blinders off.
