Day 209 Kids' Day

2008.07.29
Not so happy to rise and shine.

But, mmmmm, banana pancakes.

Then, it's time for rock climbing.

Followed by lunch and a trip to the park.

Having my sister's kids spend a couple of days with us was fun to say the least... We made sushi, took a tour of my hubby's engineering lab, played many games of Uno, baked cookies, read stories, and much much more. It also reminded me that being a parent is a full-time job and there aren't many breaks. I'm a bit tuckered out now that they have gone home. Makes me have all the more respect for all the moms and dads out there.

DancingDolphin YEP... it's an underpaid job for sure!! You got some really cute shots, I especially like the first.

But the second reminds me of a "yucky" story... Lex and I had opposite seats at the table when she was growing up. We'd be eating, catch the other persons eye, then open our mouths displaying chewed food (lol).... what a terrible influence I was!
