An older photo of one (of the many) abandoned buildings left over from the days of industry and manufacturing. This particular building had a pretty good run. It hasn't been a factory for decades, but it has still been utilized. It once housed a studio, a night club, band spaces, artist galleries, a kick boxing school, a paintball range, squat housing, and finally, a very large fire, which put it in it's current state. The building is now completely destroyed and almost all of it has collapsed. There are supposed to be 2 or 3 floors more than what you see here, they are gone. Now, after the building has been abandoned, abused for years, and now destroyed, there are groups who want to "preserve" it, mainly because a developer wants to buy the land underneath it. I find it funny that the preservationists weren't here for these building for the past 50 years, during all of it's hard times, but now that someone will make use of the land (it's been about five years since the fire) they want to save it.
