Bombers

I was able to take a late lunch today and catch a glimpse of the bombers that I had been waiting on yesterday. I got to the airport a bit late for any up-close shots (they stopped allowing people onto the airfield at noon), so everything I shot wound up being through a chain link fence, which proved to be a bit challenging. I got a few in anyhow, and was somewhat pleased with the results.

When I left the airport, I pulled into a nearby cemetery, which was in line with the runway, and was able to catch the B17 fly overhead. Unfortunately I did have a lens to cover it, I needed something at around 50mm but only had my 17-35mm and 70-300mm. I did take a 10 shot series that came out ok, as soon as I can figure out how to put them into a video of some sort I will link to them.
