These pictures are from a few days ago, when we got 8 inches of snow and by the look of them. You would never suspect that I live in the desert southwest (USA).

ok so i see a re-occuring theme in many of the posts from US bloggers...you all seem to be absolutely itching for spring!!!..i hope it comes soon for you! I love the b&w's but the color shot just pops. nice one.

I like the first one, in black and white best. There is a loneliness to it, and the contrasts are more pronounced in b&w.
