TRAINING SHIP PALINURO
A classic barquentine built in 1934 in Nantes,France, by the shipyard Chantiers Dubigeon she was originally named “Commandant Louis Richard” and was fitted for cod fishing in Newfoundland.
Acquired by Italian Navy after ww2 in 1951, she was completely restored and adpted to be a training ship. Rebuilding took place in the Maritime Arsenal in La Spezia: the former storage space for fish becomes accomodation for cadets and the bow has been was enriched by the dummy Palinuro (Palinuro in Roman mythology was the helmsman of the ship which drove Aenea from Troy). After rebuilding the ship came into service July 16, 1955 and since then she is used for training naval cadets.

L'intero gruppo di foto dal #1 al #5 ci ha fatto davvero girare in lungo e in largo la nave. Panoramiche e dettagli assolutamente fantastici, con dei colori bellissimi e prospettive impensabili. Non si può non sottolineare la tua bravura. Di questo set, il #5, direi che la prima è sensazionale, bisogna solo ritrovare Jack Sparrow e poi possiamo anche salpare (via, verso nuove fantastiche avventure). Quella che più mi piace, però è la foto dello scalmo. Secondo me è stupenda. --- The entire group of photos from # 1 to # 5 has allowed us to visit this beautiful ship in its entirety. Overviews and details absolutely fantastic, with beautiful colors and perspectives unthinkable. We may mention your skill. In this set, the # 5, I would say that the first photo is stunning, we just have to find Jack Sparrow and then we can sail (away toward exciting new adventures). What I like most, however, is the picture of the oarlock. I think it's wonderful.

True. It's just Sepia + darker sky (gradient) + a touch of light on the white line of the vessel + 2 darker corners (up right and down left) 5 minutes and that's all! :)

Complimenti per l'intero gruppo sono tutte bellissime, a costo di ripertere altri commenti e sembrare banale. Bella la luce, i colori e la scelta delle angolazioni. Non so decidere quale inserire fra le favorite. Di nuovo complimenti sei una fotografa eccezionale.
