Let Flowers Grow in Your Garden

2009.10.11
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth... Then God said,"Let the land burst forth with every sort of grass and seed-bearing plant. And let there be trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. The seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came." And so it was. The land was filled with seed-bearing plants and trees, and their seeds produced plants and trees of like kind. And God saw that it was good!

Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he placed the man he had created.

A river flowed from the land of Eden, watering the garden...

The Lord placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and care for it...

Inside all of us we 'grow a garden', with beautiful fragrant flowers. This week we focused on how we look on the inside and how it reflects on the outside. Our garden is still pure and without sin in this lesson and we are enjoying God's goodness and all that He has set there for us to enjoy. We need God to water our gardens, constantly!

Kgotso. There is no "snake" in our story, yet. Last week they learned that to be able to grow, they need to read the Word, pray and have fellowship with their friends who love Jesus.

Ntswaki. Adam and Eve had it all (too many to name), a beautiful garden, a river, furry animals, birds singing in the trees, fruit, peace, love and the most important of all, they could walk with God!!

God had placed so many good things inside of us, but we need to take care to make the right choices.

God is there for all of us, but we need to allow Him to show us where the weeds grow, so that our Garden can grow beautiful, colorful and fragrant flowers.

Matlotlo. The children loved this lesson and made their own garden on paper. We want to soak up all God's love and goodness and we want it to show!

Kgotso. There is peace in this Garden.

Nthabeleng. "God and I and nothing else!"

Ntswaki. "We have to take care of what grows in our Garden"

Bibi. "That's for sure!!"

Tlalane is beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. She loves Jesus with all her heart and it shows!

Tlalande showing off her flower on her wrist. These flowers were made with so much joy and the children loved it!! It worked perfectly for our lesson of this week!

See, everyone received a beautiful flower. The boys did not even mind to wear them!!

Tankiso. Next week will be all about the 'bad serpent' who lied and deceived Eve!

We would like to thank everyone who are praying for this ministry and for your involvement. God is turning this village upside down!! Praise God!!!
