When Was The Last Time You Hugged a Snowman?

When I prepared the week's activities I had no idea that we would actually have snow, so our winter theme worked perfectly! It was freezing cold, cutting to the bone!

Our lesson was on Winter and where snow comes from. Tshidiso said it comes from the mountains. :-)

I had them count all the circles that they could see on their snowmen.

Ntswaki made such a cute snowman!

After all the coloring, cutting and pasting snowmen, the actual fun started. They had to make their own snowmen from clay and this was definitely the highlight of their whole day.

They love playing with clay, making shapes and of course, Sammy Snake is their favorite creature to make.

As you can see, Bibi was clearly amused by his creation!

Pinocchio. Modise's snowman had a very long nose...even he thought it to be quite funny!

No, this is not a culture statement! Kamohelo was playing with the smaller kiddies in their playroom and suddenly appeared all wrapped up in a blanket. He was cold and cute! Did it all by himself.

These little ones are the most precious little beings and I love them so much. They all have little traits that make them special. I am truly blessed!!
