Headed out to Lesotho early this morning. Sometimes the 2 hours driving there is a good opportunity to be away from everything and have solid time to be quiet and figure solutions to problems. Sometimes it is just a drag, fighting to get past slow moving camper vans going up the mountains in 1st gear. Today was one of those days...

But I was glad I did go. When I arrived John was in a flat spin. He had just received a phone call from his neighbor telling him he need to come home immediately as his wife was finding it difficult to breathe.
We raced there and then rushed her to hospital. She had a light heart attack 2 weeks ago and John was scared it was something similar again.
Please keep his wife, Matumelo, in your prayers.

The doctor said there was nothing we could do for the next hour or two, so we took the opportunity to quickly go to Kotsonkoaneng.
We had a meeting scheduled with the volunteer builders, who then required payment at the end of their work. To get things moving I decided that even though they agreed to work for food (which we provided as agreed) I would pay them just so that we can get the building finished.
So money changed hands, smiles appeared on faces, and again, slowly, things move along once more.
