Friday afternoon we pulled into Myrtle Beach, SC, our home for the next 42 hours. With its collection of minigolf courses and go-kart tracks, and such attractions as Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum and Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede restaurant, I told the girls to expect Myrtle Beach to be Pigeon Forge with sand.
