A scholar of Beijing Research Institute of Mineral Resources found something very unusual when he tried to find his hometown on Google satellite map.
In the middle of Sichuan Province,there's a small city called Ya'an City-----the scholar,Xie Qiang's hometown.In the north of the city,he saw very strange patterns on Mengding Mountains.In the length of 10kms, a height of 4kms, 40 square kms in superficial measurements,the patterns looked like a man with an animal,the animal looks like Kirin in Chinese myths.
Xie Qiang was so surprised by seeing this,in July,he went to Ya'an City with a geologist,he wanted to find out why there're huge painting-like patterns on the mountains.
Finally,they walked into Mengding Mountains,and they reached the position of the man's head.They found rivers and somthing eles,and supposed millions of years ago,the mountains were shaped strangely by floods.

I've been watching a series of program about mysteries at 30 degrees north latitude shown on CCTV10 these days,very enjoy them. :-) The first picture was shown on the web site of CCTV, I also found them on Google map after watching the program,I cut out two pictures.
