As mother river in Guilin,Li River now faces a very serious situation.The water level keeps very low due to lack of waterfall.This usually happans in autumn and winter,but it becoming frequently these years.The sunny days lasted more than one month just ended by a little rain few days ago.It's no longer a river,you could even walk across the river.
Guilin's famous for beautiful hills and waters,Li River attracts lots of tourists coming to the city every year.The government proclaimed taking measures to solve the problem,but I didn't see they do anything.Nothing changed.
I feel she's tired,silent and unnaturally passive to sons and daughters that she breeds all her life.
The mother is dying.
