Blue hour of the Blue Night

Climbing up the narrow stairs of St.Sebald, one of Nuernberg`s gothic churches - here we are directly over the tomb of the Saint...and we want to get up to one of the towers that have been rebuilt after the desaster of 1945...What view we will have?

To the north it`s the Imperial Castle.

To the East it`s the old Townhall, the Business Tower and the "Moritzberg"

Looking down to the Hauptmarkt, the Market Place, the spectacle of the Blue Night is beginning (see next post!)

The "Blue Night" is a yearly event that attracts many thousands of people in Nernberg with blue illumination, art projects, music, dance - and good food, from evening until late in the night.
