Nuernberg, Hauptmarkt: The friendly coloured market for fruits, flowers, vegetables had to move...preparations for the "Christkindlmarkt" are beginning...
One never knows where passage is impossible because armies of angels and stars occupy the city...
The not-so-christmassy-side of Christmas...
Hohoho!
In a little more than 2 weeks "Christkindl" will appear on the balcony of the Frauenkirche, read a traditional poem to a huge crowd of people...everything will look splendid and brighten and smell of cookies and glühwein. I will show you pictures from the opening of the market unless I don`t break my legs on my way wo work until then...

I admire your two languages, reading, speaking and writing. Don't worry, it will be here too fast.

It will be so pretty soon. I will have to buy some lebkuchen. You know, so many American military families have enjoyed living for a time in Deutschland, and they miss German food, and our commissaries(military food stores) sell German cookies and candies and other things so we can still enjoy them. We can even buy some of those Nuremburger cookie tin boxes with the pretty scenes on them at Christmas.
