karmankwarner Thank You for the smile; your posts are great during this time of study...:) You are gaining an insight into life that most people pass by without notice.
We celebrate in Missouri, usually involving a hair dryer, glitter, and a UPS delivered package....:)

urmysunshine well, way out here in Nebraska I've already had a polka dotted computer screen and green creamer in my coffee, so I'm assuming someone must!
urmysunshine · 2011-04-01: 09:40
Keryl Yes, I celebrate April Fool's day here in New York. I don't go too overboard any more...I've learned that payback is a bitch!
Keryl · 2011-04-01: 09:53
Eiram Oh Dan, please make sure my daughter eats properly during her stay with you, she is kind of picky, but I am sure you will learn to cook her favourite meals pretty quickly - you don´t want to upset my little girl too much! And make sure she attends all her classes, after all, you don´t want to spend all that money on her tuition in vain... Oh yes, her plane arrives at 5pm on Saturday.

I think you got the answer:))
Eiram · 2011-04-01: 10:30
jeffcornish Haha!! Yes....I celebrate it as you can tell from my blog...in Transylvania!

Jothindra Early in the morning, I received a call from my daughter that the recently concluded exam had to be rewritten all over again for there had been a question paper leak earlier. Then she reminded me that it was the first of April! Yes! Kids, here in India, do indulge in such pranks, Dan!
Jothindra · 2011-04-01: 19:59
mrmeliska I hate this post....April Fools......HA,HA,HA

lookagain Well, I didn't ask to have my dog give me the "run around" for 30 minutes for his April Fools joke, but it happened anyway! Hope you had a good one, Dan....and didn't get fooled too much, although I see there's some foolin' going on above!
lookagain · 2011-04-01: 20:22
trippindelight I said I needed a day off and thanks to an April fool's prank gone awry my power has been off most of the day...so 100% agree with the lesson and think this photo is a great catch!

liveandletlive Great post Dan and yes, we in the US definitely do.
I swapped some keys around on the dispatcher's keyboard yesterday and he didn't notice it until today. HA.

honzicek I was fixing some computer issue for a colleague at work in his office.
He walked out to get something out of his car and on his return he announced to me that one of my car tires is almost flat.
After I fixed the computer I was going to see my car. He said: It is the rear left tire. You can hear it hissing.
Well, that was one phrase too much. I parked the car there at 7:00 in the morning and this conversation took place around 11:30. Four and half hours and still hissing? I don’t thing so.
Well he almost got me….! We had a good laugh.
Lesson learned: Sometimes saying less will get you farther…

????? Well, when a student from Israel said 'hooray, it's April 1st,' we said 'so what? In Ukraine, we celebrate that on April 3rd, not the 1st!' Had him fooled for awhile. Here it's plain "1st of April" and definitely celebrated, though as others have said, maybe it's just celebrated more on this day than on others!
????? · 2011-04-03: 13:01
????? Contrary to popular belief, we do know what April Fool's Day is in Montana. I got quite a few people really well on Friday. My boss, two co-workers (one of them twice), my husband and our roommate. I had a lot of fun with this one. :0) Oh, and some friends on facebook as well. hee hee
