Wow, that's something else....what a very intriguing find and capture, Dan. Seems superstition and fear have invaded many people's minds at some time or another, but hopefully not often to this degree! Excellent lesson learned to accompany the shot.
Good guitar on this oldie but goodie......
Great post....Hey its free though....maybe worth checking out.....
I used to sort of a worry about stuff like this...but tried my luck and i'm still here. Maybe the evils out there don't want me either....
Never have been superstitious at all ............ as they say ............... its all a load of grannies tales or codswallop!!!
But I really like your post and the photo, its amazing how many people are actually superstitious :-)
most of the things we fear never come to pass~ however, if demons or evil powers were to head their ugly powers to the point where I felt like a victim, I would be more likely to visit church than to a spiritual evaluation!!!!
I agree with your lesson learned. A lot of people believe in these kinds of beliefs.. sometimes it is really persuasive. But like you said.. we have to keep our minds occupied with our daily tasks.. and we have to pray for discernment on what is true and false.
LOVE this set Dan. I am extremely superstitious, but selectively so. I hate spilling salt and I have to knock on wood if I say anything predicting something good. I love when black cats cross my path and I will intentionally walk under ladders. Oh, and I HATE breaking mirrors, but to break the bad luck, you take a shard of the broken glass and touch it to a headstone in a cemetery. In case you ever have the need.
Fantastic post, Dan! My husband was born on a 13th:) And we married in May ...I think my mom never forgave me that one:) (To marry in May means you will die very young, or the marriage will not last - to this day not many couples in my country are that brave to marry in May:))
