Brightly-colored buttons

I remember playing with these buttons -- matching them, creating pictures -- when I was little. My mom had a whole tin full of these brightly colored "toys." Eighteen years later, my youngest nephew, age five, finds as much enjoyment out of them that I once did. Still do, in fact.

A few months ago, I found a box in which mom had kept her "special" buttons. Buttons of vibrant greens, blues, some even made of shell. I took a number of these buttons, and made a bracelet. I've never worn it, but I will keep it, always.
