Where's Nessie?

Day 9 of the road trip and a spectacular drive from Inverness along the shore of Loch Ness down to Fort William. This should have been a short (80 mile) drive but I couldn’t resist a detour to take in the Castle of Eilean Donan and Glen Garry (both future posts as they are spectacular).

Today’s picture is Castle Urquhart on the shore of Loch Ness where I stopped to see if I could spot “Nessie” – unfortunately no monster (I think perhaps the sun was too bright for him to come out!)
