Then and Now

For the Theme today. I didn't think I had any pictures of myself as a child but it's surprising what you find if you look.

Anyway, here's the end of 2007 and I'll be glad to see the back of it. How will I remember it?

It was the year I lost my sister - it's strange; even though we didn't see much of each other, living so far apart, I miss her very much.

It was a year of lost opportunities and opportunities taken. A year when I was let down by someone I thought the world of, a year when I should have made more of a friendship which could have been something special.

A year when I threw myself into stuff just to keep me busy - travelling to 5 new countries that I hadn't visited before, learning to scuba dive, putting much more effort into my photography.

I have no expectations for the year to come - if anything, this year has taught me to take one day at a time. I will be travelling more (3 trips already booked) and continuing with PhotoBlog and my other web site.

I want to learn new things so who knows what the future will bring?

I wish you all a happy New Year and a fulfilling 2008.
