2008.05.22

One of my favourite artists is JMW Turner, so consequently this is one of my favourite rooms in the National Gallery.

If you enlarge, you can just about make out the paintings - no prizes for identifying them :)

By the way, this picture was prompted by the posts of a fellow blogger who has taken some great pictures in NY galleries, especially MoMA.

i love that people are in the shot.
i went to the New York Photo Festival heard this photographer speak about his inspiration and it was all about painting.
and what light represents.

Lindyart the paintings are beautiful .. so soft and yet strong.. I love the first painting and I love how natural the shot of this gallery is:)
