The Magnificent Severn...

No, not the movie with a spelling mistake - this is the original suspension bridge over the River Severn in the west country.

It's a beautiful area but the people are a little strange. It's a rural area - cars are still looked upon with a curious fascination. The local pastimes are chewing pieces of straw and marrying your cousin. You should visit... wonderful countryside and an interesting anthropological exercise.

And yes, I will pay for this as I have friends from down there and I'm having dinner with two of them tomorrow... yikes :)
