All the fun of the parade...

Traditionally there is a parade through central London on New Year's Day and today was no different except I went down there to have a look. Actually, I visited friends who have an apartment overlooking the route. So I ended up taking pictures after several glasses of champagne... not a very successful combination.

I was surprised by the number of high school and student marching bands who came over from the US for the parade and very impressive they were too.

Anyway, thanks to Sarah and Farooq for a lovely afternoon.
