Bird-man (not of Alcatraz)...

2009.01.13

He had this technique of biting off small pieces of bread and chewing them, forming them into pellets and placing them in his palm.... disgusting but effective as the birds seemed to like it.

I suppose when you think about it, it's just one step further along from Marks & Spencer's ready-meals. Perhaps they will release a pre-chewed range soon! Just a thought.

DancingDolphin Saved to my favorites. I love photos of old people, so gentle this one and good perspective. Well done.

The bird looks like our Black-capped Chickadee... they are quite tame and (relatively) easily trained to eat from your hand.

TIM927 the few times I had a small bird on my hands I always got amazed at how heavy they can be, they look really fragile but after watching them flying I always think they are just a feather, so feel surprised , not sure if Im explaining :$ delicate and tender capture!
