Fascinating. Especially the colours. Rain and badlands just don't mix in my mind, so I'm happy to have my imagination broadened. As for Brian's question about the 'normal' bog (which is the closest translation I can think of for 'chiottes'), here's my attempt at an explanation: normal as opposed to what the English think are 'normal' crappers in France, i.e., porcelain hole in ground, which oddly enough the French refer to as 'toilettes turques'. Funny old world, isn't it? And the mind boggles as to the amenities provided in the delux [sic] variety. I wonder whether I'm right...

My favorite set so far,I like the luminosity, the colours and the surreal feeling of the strange composition... Hahaa...I can really see the difference: the "delux" toilets are literally "a step higher" and also involve a few extra buckets ...not sure what comfort the logs are offering, maybe they are propping the wall not to be taken away by the wind ;) ....
