I wouldn't say rubbish! The contrast between the concrete column and the reflecting windows is quite appealing.

The clarity makes me envious. There is so much appealing detail from the boards on the columns to the branches of the trees. Superb again.

I'm not sure what you've done here either (as someone that doesn't go in for it) but I imagine that it's something to do with saturation and colour? Great end result :-)

I like the texture and the colours resulted, again well chosen subject for the special effect. I love the gradation on the columns - a transition from the cold and the hard of the stone to a woodsy warm feeling near the the top of which element captures and spins your attention around it from the liquid sky to the front elements and to the shiny colourful reflection at the right and on again to the left, to front, to the right, ...left, front, right like a carousel.
