I think Jon captured something similar a little while back. Can't remember exactly what it was. I like how all the color is focused on that particular area though. Nice.

It made me smile so hard - my cheeks hurt :))) ! I love how you chose the desaturation instead of b&w, it works much better for this image.And I am fascinated by that central light that seems to come from within. I spent lot of time looking at this, I wanted to take all in.....Now I want to go out and hop on one foot - la, la, la,la, la - la.... :) !

thats also a way to bring color in ones life. surreal scenery, looks like those half animated half real films. zürich does similar "dress ups" every summer, they spread colorful motivs all over the city, once "decorated" cows, or painted, decorated banks all over, this year colorful - arty giant flowerpots. but the reaction of the swiss is slightly more suppressed than that of the canadians ;-)
