England Regain the Ashes

This will mean nothing to the non-cricket-playing nations but England v Australia in cricket is one of the oldest sporting contests - having been played roughly every two years since 1882 and is known as the Ashes.

England have just won the final test match in this year's series to regain them.

Ricky Ponting has just given a very dignified interview in defeat - he is one of the greatest players ever to have played the game.
